DICE Healthcare is owned and run by 2 qualified nurses. This enables us to offer packages of care in both social care and healthcare services, including some that other providers within the area are unable to support clients with.
As a nurse led team we teach our healthcare assistants to identify patterns and early warning signs of a deterioration and we can offer evidence based clinical advice as a first line to reduce pressures on primary care services.
Some of the services we can provide are specialist activities such as the insertion of eye drops after surgery, stoma care (Colostomy, Ileostomy, Nephrostomy or Urostomy) or complex management of continence including the use of a conveen sheath and different types of catheters. We are also able to assist clients with tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy or PEG care as required.
We also work in partnership with the Sherwood Forest Hospital Trust which allows clients to return home as soon as possible after admission.
We are in conversation with the local authority to become the first provider within the locality to provide simple healthcare services to support and relieve pressures on the NHS.
