Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What care services can you provide:

We can provide all aspects of care within your home for you to remain as independent as possible. We are different from other providers as we are Nurse led and can offer some clinical advice to our clients and their loved ones as needed.

What areas do you cover:

Please see the about us page for the areas that we cover. All postal addresses are considered.

Who will be visiting:

We have a highly trained team of staff that work in specific areas dependent on your location. Once you get to know this team it is unlikely you will see any of our other staff members unless it is during peak staff absence times such as summer holidays.

What qualifications do your staff have:

All our care staff are handpicked by our management team. Once employed, they are all trained by one of our Directors, who was a University lecturer at the University of Nottingham. We have an extensive training schedule that takes place at the head office over 5 days. New staff members are then specifically placed within the community with an experienced member of staff visiting the clients that they will see on a regular basis.
We have our own in house training suite where new staff can learn how to use the latest equipment. As part of our induction we also assess cooking skills which is unique to this organisation.

How do I pay for my care:

Please see our useful information tab for more information on funding options available to you and your individual circumstances. The ways to pay us are put on the monthly invoice, which is usually cash, a BACS transfer or a cheque.

When can you start:

First, we need to attend an initial assessment at the home address where the care will be provided. After this, agreements are made in relation to visit times and what support is required. The information our management team gather from you is then put into an individualised care plan for the care staff to follow, along with essential risk assessments and medical information. Depending on the volume of information given to us, we can usually complete care plans in 2-3 working days which must be completed before care can commence.
