Many individuals choose their home as their final place of care surrounding themselves with loved ones and familiar things. Individuals who are at the end of their life will have very specific needs to help them maintain their dignity and address the psychological support them and their loved ones will require during this distressing time.
Compassion and kindness is central to the care we provide and we respond with effective solutions to a person in pain, distress or anxiety by searching for things we can do, however small, to give comfort whilst on an end of life pathway and ensure a dignified, peaceful death. We have trained our health care staff specifically to meet the needs of clients at the end of their life and to help support the bereaved loved ones after the client has sadly passed away. We offer a ‘caring after caring’ service so that loved ones left behind can still attend our social gatherings support and be an active part in our community.
